Our comprehensive service includes everything you need to make an informed decision about your property.
We take digital floor level readings across primary living areas, hallways and connecting spaces to identify rises, falls and localised dips. This matters because a consistent slope may indicate design fall, while abrupt changes can point to movement at joints or around structural elements.
Bathrooms, laundries and kitchens are measured at multiple points to detect unevenness that can accompany moisture damage, leaking fixtures, or deteriorating floor finishes. In apartment living, these areas are also where waterproofing and drainage details can influence how floors perform over time.
We record level changes at doorways, balcony sliders and flooring transitions (tile to timber, carpet to tile). These points often reveal differential movement or poor transitions that create trip hazards and can indicate where further investigation is warranted.
We note localised high or low spots that may not be obvious during a walkthrough, including areas affected by settlement, repairs, or substrate inconsistencies. Pinpointing these zones helps you plan rectification and seek specialist advice if needed.
We establish clear reference readings so the same locations can be rechecked later. This is useful in NewQuay properties where owners’ corporations, builders, or engineers may request evidence of change over time rather than a single observation.
Your report includes the recorded measurements, the pattern observed across the floor, and practical next steps. We explain what appears typical for the layout versus what looks unusual, so you can make informed decisions without guesswork.

It’s useful for both, but it’s particularly practical in NewQuay apartments where floors may span over basements, car parks, and slab joints. Digital readings can highlight abrupt changes between rooms, around wet areas, and at balcony thresholds. While it won’t diagnose the structural cause on its own, it provides clear measurements that help determine whether further investigation by a specialist is warranted.
We measure across key internal spaces that show patterns best: living and dining areas, hallways, bedrooms, and targeted points around bathrooms, laundries and kitchens. We also capture readings at transitions such as doorways and balcony sliders where level changes often show up. The goal is to map how the floor behaves across the layout, not just spot-check a single room.
A Basic Digital Floor Level Survey is a measurement service, not a structural certification. It records level variation and highlights patterns that may be consistent with movement, moisture-related issues, or construction tolerances. If the readings suggest abnormal movement, we’ll recommend the right next step, which may include a structural engineer or further targeted inspection to confirm the cause and seriousness.
Waterfront environments can influence buildings indirectly through moisture exposure, wind-driven rain, and how balcony and façade drainage details perform over time. In NewQuay, level issues can present around external openings, wet areas, and slab transitions rather than across an entire floor. A digital survey helps document whether the change is isolated to moisture-prone zones or forms a wider pattern that needs deeper investigation.
Use the report to guide your negotiation and due diligence. If levels are generally consistent, you have evidence that supports the condition you observed. If we find notable variation, you can ask for further documentation, request specialist assessment, or budget for rectification such as floor preparation before new finishes. The measured data also helps you ask more precise questions during the contract review process.
