Stage 2 – Frame Stage Inspection in Harkaway

A Frame Stage Inspection is a thorough check of your new home’s structural framework before plastering or cladding is installed. It ensures all framing components are properly installed, compliant with Australian Standards, and free from defects. This early inspection helps catch issues that could become costly or difficult to fix later in the building process.

The Frame Stage is crucial because it forms the backbone of your home. Any errors or defects at this stage can compromise the building’s structural integrity and safety. By inspecting now, you can ensure any problems are rectified before they’re hidden, saving you time, money, and stress down the track.

Our inspection covers all aspects of the frame, including wall and roof framing, bracing, tie-downs, lintels, and alignment. We check for compliance with building codes and look for defects such as incorrect fixings, warping, or poor workmanship. You’ll receive a detailed report with photos and clear recommendations.

We know time is critical in the building process. You’ll receive your comprehensive inspection report within 24 hours of our visit. The report is easy to understand, highlights any issues found, and includes photographic evidence so you can take prompt action with your builder.

Absolutely. With your permission, we’re happy to communicate directly with your builder or site supervisor. This ensures any issues we identify are clearly explained and resolved quickly, keeping your build on track and giving you added peace of mind.
