Hampton Park homes commonly mix older brick veneer builds with newer estates, and small changes in ground moisture can show up first as uneven floors and sticking doors. A Basic Digital Floor Level Survey gives you objective numbers before you renovate, buy, or chase cracking that keeps returning.

Our comprehensive service includes everything you need to make an informed decision about your property.
We take measured readings at multiple points through accessible areas to create a clear picture of how the floor varies from one end of the home to the other. This helps identify whether slope is gradual, abrupt, or isolated to specific zones.
A fixed reference point is used so all readings relate back to the same baseline. Consistency matters because it allows you to compare results over time if you re-check after drainage works, landscaping changes, or seasonal shifts.
We look for patterns such as higher/lower edges, centre dips, or changes around load-bearing lines. Pattern recognition helps distinguish a localised issue from broader movement that may relate to footing performance or site moisture variation.
Where relevant, we note common contributors that can influence levels, such as wet areas, downpipe discharge points, garden beds against the slab/brickwork, or paving that may affect drainage. These notes help you prioritise practical fixes.
Results are presented in a structured way so you can see which rooms deviate most and where transitions occur. This is useful for planning re-levelling, flooring installation, or discussing scope with trades.
If the measurements suggest abnormal movement or a concerning trend, the report explains why and what type of follow-up is appropriate (for example, monitoring, drainage improvements, or consulting a structural engineer).

Hampton Park has a mix of slabs and brick veneer homes, and many sites are influenced by reactive clay soils and drainage conditions. A Basic Digital Floor Level Survey provides measured floor variations so you can see whether unevenness is localised or follows a broader movement pattern. It’s especially helpful if you’ve noticed recurring cracking, doors sticking, or you’re planning renovations that need a level substrate.
We measure accessible internal floor areas, taking multiple readings across rooms and along walkways to map level changes. The exact coverage depends on access, floor coverings, furniture, and whether some areas are obstructed. We aim for a practical, representative spread of points so the report reflects real conditions through the home rather than a single spot check.
This service is designed to measure and document floor level variation, not to certify structural safety. The results can highlight patterns consistent with movement that may warrant further assessment. If the readings indicate concerning changes, we’ll recommend appropriate next steps, which may include monitoring over time and/or referral to a structural engineer for detailed footing and structural analysis.
Yes. Slabs can still experience differential movement, particularly if moisture conditions around the perimeter change due to drainage, downpipes, garden beds, or paving. A floor level survey helps identify whether any variation is minor and uniform or concentrated in particular zones. This is valuable before re-flooring, kitchen upgrades, or if you’re seeing cracks that keep returning after patching.
Clear access to key areas where possible, especially hallways and the main living zones, and keep pets secured. If you have concerns about specific cracks, doors, or rooms, note them so we can ensure measurements capture those areas. Avoid moving heavy furniture right before the visit if it exposes sharp edges or creates hazards—safe, steady access helps us take consistent readings.
