Our comprehensive service includes everything you need to make an informed decision about your property.
We visually check for cracked, slipped or broken tiles and movement along ridge/hip caps where bedding and pointing can deteriorate. On 2 storey roofs, these issues are often missed from ground level but are common entry points for wind-driven rain in Hampton.
We capture close imagery of flashings where roofs meet walls, chimneys, skylights and other penetrations. The aim is to identify lifted edges, gaps, splitting sealants and early corrosion so you can address leak risks before water tracks into ceilings.
We focus on valleys, changes in pitch and roof transitions where debris can accumulate and water flow concentrates. These areas are frequent trouble spots on larger Hampton homes, particularly after storms that drop leaves and small branches.
Where metal roofing or metal components are present, we look for surface rust, coating breakdown and fastener issues. Hampton’s coastal conditions can speed up corrosion, and early detection helps prevent widespread sheet damage and leaks.
We visually assess gutter lines and box gutter areas for blockages, standing water, sagging sections and overflow staining. These signs can indicate poor drainage or capacity problems that may cause water to back up under roofing edges.
We review the roof perimeter for uneven lines, displaced sections, and visible deterioration around fascias and eaves. Changes here can point to movement, water damage or ongoing overflow issues that deserve follow-up.

Yes. Hampton properties can be exposed to salty air and gusty weather, which can accelerate corrosion on flashings and fixings and lift vulnerable edges during storms. A drone assessment allows us to closely view ridges, valleys, penetrations and roof junctions that are hard to see from the ground on a 2 storey home. You receive images and notes highlighting likely leak and corrosion risk points.
We can. For tiled roofs, we look for cracked or displaced tiles, deterioration to ridge/hip capping (bedding and pointing), and debris build-up in valleys that can force water sideways. The drone’s close imaging is particularly helpful on double-storey homes where viewing tile condition and ridge lines safely is difficult. If we see signs of moisture entry, we’ll note where further hands-on investigation may be warranted.
In many cases, yes. We visually check gutter runs, box gutters and downpipe entry points for leaf build-up, ponding, overflow staining and sagging sections. These are common precursors to leaks, especially where modern roof designs concentrate water flow. While a drone can’t clean gutters, it can provide clear evidence of where maintenance is needed and where overflow may be impacting eaves and fascias.
They can. Hampton can experience gusty conditions, and safe flight is essential. If wind, rain or low visibility makes it unsafe, we’ll discuss options to reschedule or adjust the assessment timing. When conditions allow, we plan the flight path to capture the key roof areas efficiently, focusing on the most exposed edges, ridge lines and junctions that typically take the brunt of wind-driven weather.
You’ll receive a report summarising observed roof condition with supporting drone photos. We outline visible defects and risk areas such as cracked tiles, deteriorated pointing, flashing concerns, corrosion, and drainage issues around gutters and valleys. The report is written to help you make decisions about maintenance and to support discussions with a roofer for repairs where specialised, hands-on work is required.
