A Practical Completion Inspection, or PCI, is a detailed assessment conducted at the final stage of your new build. It ensures all contracted work is complete, compliant, and meets quality standards before you take possession. The PCI identifies defects, incomplete items, or substandard finishes, giving you the opportunity to have these rectified by the builder before settlement.

A PCI is essential because it safeguards your investment. By identifying defects or unfinished work before you move in, you can ensure your builder addresses any issues at their cost, not yours. This inspection helps avoid costly repairs, disputes, or disappointments after settlement, giving you confidence that your new home is truly ready.

Our Stage 5 PCI inspection covers all aspects of your completed build, including internal and external finishes, fixtures, fittings, paintwork, cabinetry, flooring, doors, windows, and compliance with your contract. We provide a comprehensive, photographic report highlighting any concerns, so you can address them with your builder before finalising the purchase.
